2009 National Day Awards

Excellent Service Awards 2009
Launched in 1994, the Excellent Service Award is a national award that recognises individuals who have delivered outstanding service. It seeks to develop service models for staff to emulate, create service champions and professionalise services. For her dedication to excellent service, Ms Haryati Jumahat, Deputy Head (Specialised), was awarded this year’s Silver Excellent Service Award.
2009 PS21 Star Service Award
The PS21 Star Service Award is a national-level award that is conferred on public officers for their excellence in service delivery. For their commitment towards service excellence, Ms Alamelu (Interpreters Section) and Ms Wong Yen Peng (Enforcement & Support Service Section) were awarded the PS21 Star Service Award.
