Advisory - Precautionary Measures Against "Swine Flu"

Court hearings and operations at the Supreme Court will continue as usual. However, visitors running a fever (38 degrees Celsius) or displaying flu-like symptoms such as severe sneezing or coughing are advised to see a doctor. Should court users be unable to attend court hearings because of this, the Legal Registry will make the necessary arrangements to reschedule their hearing dates.

Queries may be directed to the Supreme Court at (1800) 338 1034.

Advisory - Scam Calls

It has come to the attention of the Supreme Court that members of the public have received calls from individuals falsely claiming to be staff of the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court has notified the police and is currently monitoring the situation.

Members of the public who do not have pending cases in the Supreme Court are advised to exercise caution when they receive telephone calls from individuals identifying themselves as staff of the Supreme Court, directing them to attend court hearings or asking for personal particulars such as bank account numbers and the amount of monies in the bank accounts. Staff of the Supreme Court do not request for personal financial particulars verbally over the phone.

In case of doubt, members of the public should always verify the source of the call with the Supreme Court at (1800) 338 1034. If you have received such a call, you may wish to make a personal police report.
