Commissioner for Oaths

The Commissioners for Oaths at the Supreme Court administer oaths/affirmations in respect of affidavits to be used in Supreme Court proceedings, or statutory declarations to be used in Singapore. Deponents/declarants who wish to have their affidavits and statutory declarations affirmed/sworn/declared may proceed to see the duty Commissioner for Oaths at Level 3M.

For documents to be used in a foreign country, deponents/declarants should have them executed in the presence of a Notary Public instead of a Commissioner for Oaths.

The following commissioning fees apply:

Statutory declarations S$20.00 per statutory declaration S$5.00 per exhibit (if any)

For matters under the Companies Act, a fee of S$2.00 per exhibit (if any) will be imposed



House Call Services

The Commissioners for Oaths of the Supreme Court also provide house call services during office hours, subject to exigencies of service. Requests should be made in writing to the respective Head Interpreters (Chinese, Malay or Indian) at least 2 days in advance. The commissioning fees payable for house call services are as follows:
